Facebook is a really great social networking site. It even ranked as the top ten famous website visited by people from around the world everyday according to Alexa. But Facebook sometimes can reduce your productivity as you can easily be addicted to it. So, the easiest way to cope with this problems is by blocking your computer from accessing Facebook.
This is a really easy tutorial for you to follow.There are 2 ways in doing this. First, go to your computer Start button > All programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
OR Click windows key + R and type cmd to open command prompt
Then, write this command line on your command prompt interface to block Facebook from your computer.
notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Then, a notepad will appear.
Secondly, you can go to my computer>local drive(C:)>windows>system32>drivers>etc>hosts
Open the host file with notepad.
All you have to do now is to copy and paste the following codes into notepad to block Facebook from your computer. Just paste this code that will block Facebook from your computer:
127.0.0.1 www.login.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 login.facebook.com.nl
127.0.0.1 www.login.facebook.com.nl
127.0.0.1 fbcdn.net
